In Rome, Stay at the Forum Roma Hotel
Written on November 14, 2007
In the middle of the most historic city in all of Europe is the Forum Roma hotel. This historic hotel was once a monastery for an order of Catholic nuns and is one of the oldest inhabited structures in the city.
The roof-top garden terrace provides a spectacular view of the Coliseum and the Forum while diners enjoy an authentic, leisurely Italian breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything moves is at a leisurely pace in Italy. Italy is a country that demands you slow down and enjoy the finer things in life.
The lobby is opulent, yet they have maintained a piece of history by exposing the original brick structure along a rich wooden staircase. All of the hallways are softly lit and boast plush carpets, tasteful wall coverings and charming artwork.
For businesspeople, the hotel is equipped with internet service, meeting rooms and a magnificent hall for presentations. The Forum lacks nothing in modern conveniences, yet gives up none of the old-world charm in doing so.
Just as all roads lead to Rome, when you leave the hotel, you’ll find that all streets seem to lead to the Forum. There are many small alleyways that are lined with shops and restaurants, as well as the full aesthetic flavors of Italian history.
